Request account deletion

We're sorry to see you go. You can permanently delete your eatables account and the data associated with it directly from the app. Follow the steps below.

Delete your account from inside the app

1. Open the eatables app.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Account actions.
5. Tap Delete account.
6. Confirm the deletion and tap Delete.

Can't access the app?

If you cannot access the app, email hello@octane.team with the subject line "Request Account Deletion".

Important: Please email us from the email address linked to your account so we can verify your identity and protect your data.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, display name, email, profile photo)
• Your reviews, ratings, and uploaded photos
• Favourites and dietary preferences
• Authentication tokens and session data

What we may retain

We may retain a minimal record of the deletion request itself, and any data we are legally required to keep (for example, to comply with tax, fraud-prevention, or law-enforcement obligations). Anonymised, aggregated data that cannot be tied back to you may also be retained.

Timeline

Account deletions are typically processed within 30 days. Once deletion is complete, your account and personal data cannot be recovered.
